What we store, and how we get paid
Short version: we log search queries to run and improve the service, we never sell them, and the purchase links we return earn us affiliate commission. Detail below.

Affiliate disclosure
Purchase links returned by this API are affiliate-tracked. When someone buys through a link we return, the marketplace pays us a commission at no extra cost to the buyer. This is how the free tier is funded.
- eBay UK links carry our eBay Partner Network tracking, applied by eBay itself.
- Amazon UK links carry our Amazon Associates tag.
- Paid-plan customers may supply their own affiliate credentials (BYOK), in which case commission goes to them and never passes through us.
Commission never influences ranking: results come back in the marketplace's own order for your query, and we do not reorder, boost, or suppress listings. If you are an agent developer surfacing these results to a person, you should pass this disclosure on to them.
What we collect
- Search queries — the text sent to
/api/query, with a timestamp and which marketplaces were searched. Used for service health, abuse detection, and to understand demand. Retained no longer than 30 days in raw form. - API keys and account details — if you register, the name, contact email, endpoint and any affiliate identifiers you give us, plus your plan and monthly usage count.
- Technical request data — IP address and rate-limit counters, used to enforce fair use and block abuse.
We do not require, request, or want personal data inside queries. Please do not put names, addresses, payment details or anything else identifying into a product search — it is a shopping query field, not a form.
What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent query data, keys, or contact details to anyone.
- We do not use your queries to train models.
- We do not set advertising or tracking cookies on this site.
- We do not attempt to identify the end users behind an agent's requests.
Who else sees your data
- eBay — receives the search terms needed to run your query, under their own privacy policy.
- Stripe — handles all payments. We never see or store card details.
- Cloudflare — routes traffic to the API and provides abuse protection.
- Resend — delivers account emails such as your API key.
No other third parties. The service runs on infrastructure we operate directly.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. Email [email protected] and we will action it within 30 days. Deleting an account removes its key, contact details and usage records; anonymous aggregate counts may remain.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we will update the date above and note it in the docs. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
