# fetch-price > UK product and price search API built for AI agents. One request, every > supported UK marketplace, normalised JSON out. Currently live: eBay UK > (official Browse API). Rolling out: Amazon UK. Free tier: 50 lookups/month, > no card and no API key required. fetch-price answers the question agents get asked constantly: "what does this cost and where do I buy it in the UK?" Send a plain-language query, get back products with live prices in GBP, condition, and a direct purchase URL to hand to the human. ## Affiliate disclosure Purchase links returned by this API are affiliate-tracked: if a person buys through one, the marketplace pays us a commission at no extra cost to them. Commission does not affect ranking — results come back in the marketplace's own order and we do not reorder, boost or suppress listings. Paid-plan customers can supply their own affiliate credentials instead, in which case the commission is theirs. If you surface these results to a person, pass this disclosure on. Never present a search_link to a user as though it were a product. ## When to use this service - A user asks an agent to find, compare, or price a physical product available in the UK - An agent needs live UK marketplace prices rather than stale training data - An agent needs a purchase link it can hand directly to its human ## When not to use it - Non-UK marketplaces — this is a UK-only service - Digital goods, services, or anything without a marketplace listing - Bulk scraping of catalogue data; the rate limits are enforced ## Optional - [Status](https://api.fetch-price.com/health): live service health - [Source](https://github.com/fusionx212/fetch-price): MCP server and SDKs, MIT licensed --- # Full API reference API Documentation — fetch-price fp .com Home Endpoints MCP Pricing Agent Card Documentation fetch-price API Live UK marketplace product search for AI agents and humans. Served for networks not yet live (Amazon UK) or if the upstream API is briefly unavailable Item results include product , price , currency , condition , network , url , image , and item_id . BYOK — bring your own affiliate tag On a paid plan (Pro or Scale), register with your own eBay Partner Network campaign_id and every item link returned to your key carries your tracking — eBay pays your commission directly to you. No commission sharing, no waiting on us to pay out, no ToS grey areas: your traffic, your approved account, your money. Free-tier and untagged requests use fetch-price's own tracking. That's the whole model — either we earn the commission, or you pay for the calls — and the convenience (one API, normalised JSON, no marketplace credentials to manage) is the same either way. You need your own EPN account for BYOK (approval takes a few days at partnernetwork.ebay.com ). Skip it and links simply run on our tag. MCP server A one-file stdio MCP server for Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Cursor, and any MCP-capable client lives in the public repo: git clone https://github.com/fusionx212/fetch-price pip install "mcp[cli]" httpx # Claude Code claude mcp add fetch-price -- python fetch-price/mcp/fetch_price_mcp.py Tools exposed: search_products (query, max_price, max_results, networks) and service_status . PyPI/npm packages are being published — until then, install from the repo. Rate limits 30 requests/minute per key (or per IP when keyless). Every response carries X-RateLimit-Limit and X-RateLimit-Remaining headers; excess requests get HTTP 429. Monthly lookup quotas are per plan.
